Western Province endured their worst Currie Cup performance in 2022, but they bounced back last season to win seven of their 14 games. Unfortunately, they just missed out on the semi-final spots by a point.

Province are the most successful side in the long history of the Currie Cup, however, it has been quite a few years since they won it.

That is mainly down to the fact that the tournament coincides with the international season. They have built a decent squad below their URC franchise, Stormers, so it should be interesting to see what they can achieve this year.
