Cheetahs vs Sharks Predictions - Cheetahs to take the points against Sharks

Sharks beat the Cheetahs during the 2023 Currie Cup.

Cheetahs are currently third on the table with four wins, a defeat and a draw. They have 23 points and are three points off the Bulls at the top.

The defending Currie Cup champions made a good start to the season, winning their opening two games with ease. They then lost away to the Bulls before narrowly scraping home against the Griffons in round four.

That was followed by a home draw against the Bulls and a 26-19 away win over Western Province. In both of the last fixtures, the Bloemfontein side had to put in strong second half performances to get the result.

Expect changes to the Cheetahs side as they continue to search for consistency in performance.

The Sharks are fifth on the table with two wins, three defeats and a draw. 

The Durban-based outfit made a horror start to their season, losing their opening three games, but bounced back to beat the high-flying Lions away from home in round four.

That shock result was followed by a 44-44 draw in Nelspruit against the Pumas before beating Griquas 40-21 at home last weekend.

The Sharks have been pretty good over the last three weeks after a slow start. I do not expect them to make many changes to a winning side.
