Aviron Bayonne have struggled on their travels this season, losing 51-29 against Pau, 26-10 against Clermont, 30-27 against Bordeaux, beating Lyon 49-38, losing 39-19 against Toulon, defeating Vannes 27-21 before losing 42-10 against Montpellier.

Bayonne are fifth in the Top 14 league standing, although their away form has been disappointing this season. However, they should beat Black Lion, as their opponents struggled in this competition last season.
