Australia finished bottom of the U20 Rugby Championship earlier this year, but their performances were not that poor.

The Aussies, who won just one of three games, began their campaign with a defeat to Argentina. They backed it up the following week to beat South Africa.

New Zealand were too good in the final game of the tournament though. However, the young Wallabies did defeat the Baby All Blacks 44-35 during the 2023 World Rugby Championships.

Australia should field a similar side to that which played in the Rugby Championship earlier this season.

Georgia U20 Form

Georgia were very impressive in the 2023 World Championships and will take heart from that in 2024.

In their opening game, Georgia took South Africa to the wire, losing by 10 points before beating Argentina 20-0 in their second game. Georgia followed it up with a 30-17 success against Italy.

Despite those promising performances, Georgia fell at the next hurdle, losing 40-21 to Wales. That set them up for a match against the Baby All Blacks, a game Georgia lost 50-26.
