IRISH MORNING lost a length at the start last time, but the manner in which he ran on was eye-catching. He has won five times, finished second once and third once from nine starts over this C&D. Keagan de Melo steps back into the saddle and he can return to winning ways.

Race 6 - BELGARION (1)

BELGARION returns from a lengthy 44-week break. The classy son of Dynasty has won three times and finished third once from as many starts over this C&D. He is once again nominated for the 2022 Hollywoodbets Durban July and may be in need of this run. However, he has the class to win this race.

Race 7 - SUDDEN STAR (2)

SUDDEN STAR ran a good race when second in his stable debut over 2000m at Durbanville. He has won twice and finished second twice from as many starts over this C&D. He is likely to race on the speed and may be hard to peg back in the run down to the line.

Race 9 - CELTIC NIGHT (3)

CELTIC NIGHT ran a good race when finishing second over 1200m in her comeback run. She would have come on with the outing and will strip a much fitter horse. She will love the rise to 1400m and can go one better.

Race 10 - WHOA WHOA WHOA (1)

WHOA WHOA WHOA was super-impressive when winning her last start over 1200m on this course. She showed good speed, found extra and won with a ton in hand. She returns from a well-deserved 13-week break and if not in need of the run, she should be too good for this field.
