BHAKKA has won his last two starts well. Despite running into traffic problems last time, the manner in which he drew away from the opposition was impressive. He should have no issues with the drop to 2000m. The 5yo gelding takes a rise in class, but he is in a good space and can notch up the hat-trick

POT SOX has won her last two starts well, the latest of which was over this C&D. She set the pace last time and kept going well to hold all challengers at bay. The daughter of Pathfork meets a similar type of field this afternoon and can notch up the hat-trick.

CASTELLO CAMPANULA was an impressive winner when shedding her maiden tag over 1200m on the turf. She showed good speed that day and kept finding to keep all challengers at bay. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. The daughter of Flower Alley takes a rise in class, but she looks to have ability and might be up to the task at hand.

PERFECTLY PUTT ran a good race when finishing third in his local debut over 1300m on this course. He was slow into stride, settled at the rear of the field and finished his race off strongly. On that effort, he will be better suited to today’s distance. The 5yo gelding is having his peak run today and should be cherry-ripe. Raymond Danielson retains the ride which is encouraging.
