The lowest-rated horse in this year's Durban July will be Future Swing, who currently sits third in the betting.

Justin Snaith's four-year-old will have no stamina doubts to answer in South Africa's most famous handicap. Future Swing ran out an impressive winner of the Chairman's Cup on King's Plate day at Kenilworth, beating Triple Time by over a length in that 12-and-a-half furlong Group Three.

After returning from a short break with a decent effort over a mile, Future Swing edged out Oriental Charm to win the WSB 1900 at Greyville, where his stamina again came to the fore. Off his rating of 110, Future Swing will now carry just 54kg in the Durban July, six kilos less than top-weight See It Again.
