A star-studded field of the world's elite golfers returns in Georgia to compete for the Masters title at the iconic Augusta National this weekend. Who will don the coveted Green Jacket come Sunday?

Scottie Scheffler is back to defend his title after a four-stroke victory over Ludvig Aberg in 2024.

Past and present Major winners that will tee on Thursday include Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, Jon Rahm, Wyndham Clark, Brian Harman, Brooks Koepka, Matt Fitzpatrick, Justin Thomas, Cameron Smith, Keegan Bradley, Jason Day, Bryson DeChambeau, Sergio Garcia, Dustin Johnson, Shane Lowry, Hideki Matsuyama, Rory McIlroy, Phil Mickelson, Collin Morikawa, Patrick Reed, Justin Rose, Charl Schwartzel, Adam Scott, Jordan Spieth, Bubba Watson, Danny Willett, and Zach Johnson.

These are our four selections that could win the Masters this weekend.

Rory McIlroy

Rory McIlroy has the perfect beginning to his season on the DP World Tour and PGA Tour, placing T4 at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic and winning the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

McIlroy's subsequent two events were solid, finishing T17 at the Genesis Invitational and T15 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational before winning the Players Championship and placing T5 overall at the Texas Children's Houston Open.

The four-time Major champion has achieved excellent results in his previous 11 visits to Augusta National, finishing T8 in 2014, 4th in 2015, T10 in 2016, T7 in 2017, T5 in 2018, T21 in 2019, T5 in 2020, MC in 2021, 2nd in 2022, MC in 2023, and T22 in 2024.

McIlroy comes into this edition of the Masters in fine fettle and will have every chance to emerge as the winner this weekend.

Jon Rahm

Jon Rahm did not have a promising start to his season after a missed cut result at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic on the DP World Tour.

However, Rahm did not take long to regain his touch on the LIV Golf Tour, placing T2 in Riyadh, 6th in Adelaide, T6 in Hong Kong, T5 in Singapore, and T9 in Miami last weekend.

The former world number-one-ranked golfer has an outstanding record at the Masters, placing T27 in 2017, 4th in 2018, T9 in 2019, T7 in 2020, T5 in 2021, T27 in 2022, victory in 2023, and T45 in 2024.

Rahm has been in great shape in 2025 thus far and has previously tasted success at Augusta National.

Collin Morikawa

Collin Morikawa had a solid start to his season on the PGA Tour, placing 2nd at the Sentry, T17 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, and T17 at the Genesis Invitational.

Morikawa came close to winning the second time this season, placing 2nd at the Arnold Palmer Invitational before finishing T10 at the Players Championship.

The world's fourth-ranked golfer has featured five times at the Masters, finishing T44 in 2020, T18 in 2021, 5th in 2022, T10 in 2023, and T3 in 2024.

Morikawa has had two runner-up results this year and has the game to win the Green Jacket this weekend.

Bryson DeChambeau

Bryson DeChambeau started his season in great touch on the Asian Tour, finishing 2nd at the International Series in India.

After that result, DeChambeau returned to the LIV Golf League, placing T6 in Riyadh, T18 in Adelaide, T20 in Hong Kong, T10 in Singapore, and 5th in Miami last weekend.

The two-time U.S. Open champion has made eight appearances at Augusta National, finishing T21 in 2016, T38 in 2018, T29 in 2019, T34 in 2020, T46 in 2021, MC in 2022, MC in 2023, and T6 in 2024.

DeChambeau has been thereabouts lately and can win the Masters this weekend.

Verdict

McIlroy has not put a step wrong lately and can secure his maiden Green Jacket this weekend.

Rahm is playing well and can win at Augusta National for the second time this Sunday.

Morikawa has threatened to put in a winning performance lately and secure victory in Georgia this weekend.

DeChambeau has the form to come out on top at the Masters.
