The PGA Tour and a host of the world's best players return to Memorial Park to compete for the Texas Children's Houston Open this weekend. Who will lift the winning trophy in Texas come Sunday?
Stephan Jaeger is back to defend his title after a one-stroke victory over Thomas Detry, Tony Finau, Taylor Moore, Scottie Scheffler, and Alejandro Tosti in 2024.
Past and present Major winners in the field include Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, Wyndham Clark, Jason Day, Padraig Harrington, Zach Johnson, Francesco Molinari, Jimmy Walker, Danny Willett, and Gary Woodland.
These are our four selections that could win the title this weekend.
Aaron Rai
Aaron Rai was in fair form during the opening rounds of the new PGA Tour season, finishing T15 at the Sentry, MC at the Farmers Insurance Open, T40 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, and T37 at the Genesis Invitational.
Rai has regained his touch in his subsequent three starts, placing T4 at the Mexico Open, T11 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, and T14 at the Players Championship.
The English golfer has featured three times at the Houston Open, finishing T19 in 2021, T7 in 2022, and T7 in 2024.
Rai is showing signs he is ready to win another PGA Tour title after his recent results.
Jason Day
Jason Day was in decent nick at the beginning of the PGA Tour season, finishing T40 at the Sentry, T3 at the American Express, and T32 at the Farmers Insurance Open.
Day has maintained his level of play since those performances, placing T13 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, MC at the Phoenix Open, T50 at the Genesis Invitational, and T8 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
The 11-time PGA Tour winner has made seven appearances at the Houston Open, finishing T8 in 2008, MC in 2010, MC in 2011, T7 in 2020, T54 in 2021, T16 in 2022, and MC in 2024.
Day has been thereabouts lately and will be challenging for the title in Houston come Sunday.
Min Woo Lee
Min Woo Lee started his season on the DP World Tour in solid form, placing T15 at the BMW Australian PGA Championship, T27 at the ISPS Handa Australian Open, and T17 at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic.
Min Woo Lee has continued to play well on the PGA Tour, finishing T17 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, T12 at the WM Phoenix Open, 48th at the Genesis Invitational, T11 at the Cognizant Classic, MC at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, and T20 at the Players Championship.
The Australian is debuting at the 2025 Texas Children's Houston Open this weekend.
Min Woo Lee has been producing consistent results this year and can emerge as the winner at Memorial Park come Sunday.
Jacob Bridgeman
Jacob Bridgeman was out of sorts at the start of the new PGA Tour season, with results of MC at the Sony Open in Hawaii, T21 at the American Express, MC at the Farmers Insurance Open, and MC at the Phoenix Open.
However, Bridgeman has found another gear lately, placing T34 at the Mexico Open, T2 at the Cognizant Classic, T15 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, T50 at the Players Championship, and 3rd at the Valspar Championship last weekend.
The 25-year-old finished T21 overall at the 2024 Texas Children's Houston Open on debut.
Bridgeman has been in great touch lately and can cause an upset victory in Texas.

Rai has been in excellent form lately and will fancy his chances to win the Texas Children's Houston Open this weekend.
Day has the game to pocket the winner's cheque at Memorial Park come Sunday.
