A star-studded field heads to South Carolina for the RBC Heritage in the latest round of the PGA Tour.

A host of golfers featured well at the Masters and have claims for the title. Who will walk away with the honours?

Stewart Cink returns to defend his title after his triumph in 2021.

There are 15 past and present major winners in the line-up including Jordan Spieth, Lucas Glover, Graeme McDowell, Stewart Cink, Jim Furyk, Dustin Johnson, Zach Johnson, Justin Thomas, Danny Willet, Davis Love III, Shane Lowry, Webb Simpson, Henrik Stenson, Charl Schwartzel, and Collin Morikawa.

These are our four selections that could win the title this weekend.

Collin Morikawa

Collin Morikawa shot a final round score of 67 to place fifth at this year's Masters tournament, his best return to date at Augusta National.

Before that, the American placed T5 at the Tournament of Champions, T18 at the Dubai Desert Classic, T2 at the Genesis Invitational and T9 at the WGC World Match Play.

The world number two ranked golfer finished T64 in 2020 and was T7 last year in his two previous starts at the RBC Heritage.

Morikawa has not won a title this year but must fancy his chances to lift his first PGA Tour trophy come Sunday.

Cameron Smith

Cameron Smith's chance to win the Masters evaporated when he had a triple-bogey meltdown on the 12th hole in the final round, ending his challenge for his first career major. He had to settle for T3 place overall.

The world number five ranked golfer's form has been exceptional this year, winning the Sentry Tournament of Champions and the Players Championship, and finishing T4 at the Saudi International.

The Australian has played at the RBC Heritage tournament six times, with finishes of T15, T29, T32, Cut, Cut and T9 last year.

Smith will look to put the disappointment of his final round at the Masters behind him with a strong challenge for the title at the Harbour Town Golf Links course this weekend.

Corey Conners

Corey Conners achieved his best result in a major when he placed T6 overall at the Masters last weekend.

Before that, the Canadian was T11 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, T26 at the Players Championship, third at the WGC World Match Play and T35 Valero Texas Open.

He missed the cut in his first three attempts around the greens of the Harbour Golf Links course, before finishing T31 in 2020 and a credible T4 last year.

Conners will be confident in his current golf game and can challenge for the RBC Heritage title this weekend.

Sungjae Im

After a great start to 2022, Sungjae Im had average results before the first Major of the year, finishing T55 at the Players Championship and T35 at the WGC World Match Play

But he returned to form at the Masters when he placed T8 overall.

Other notable results include finishing T8 at the Tournament of Champions, T11 at the American Express, T6 at the Farmers Insurance Open and T20 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

The 24-year-old Korean missed the cut in 2019 and 2020 but placed T13 last year in his three attempts to win the RBC Heritage title.

Im has been threatening to win this year and will come into this PGA Tour event on the back of a good result in the Masters. Can he convert his current form into a win?

Verdict

Morikawa played well at the Masters and can challenge for the title.

Smith has a point to prove and can feature prominently this weekend.

Conners has the form to win this second PGA Tour tournament of his career.

Im is holding form and is the long-shot value bet at the RBC Heritage.
