The DP World Tour and players remain in the Middle East, with the Qatar Masters up for grabs this weekend. Who will win in Doha this Sunday?

Rikuya Hoshino will not be back to defend his title after a one-stroke victory over Ugo Coussaud in 2024.

Five past winners of the Qatar Masters will tee off on Thursday, including Jorge Campillo, Eddie Pepperell, Alvaro Quiros, Ewen Ferguson and Antoine Rozner.

These are our four selections that could win the title this weekend.

Jordan Smith

Jordan Smith has had a solid start to his new season on the DP World Tour, finishing T21 at the BMW Australian PGA Championship, MC at the ISPS Handa Australian Open, T6 at the Nedbank Golf Challenge, T65 at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, T27 at the Ras Al Khaimah Championship and T24 at the Bahrain Championship.

Before those results, Smith had placed T13 at the Open de France, T4 at the Andalucia Masters, T13 at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship and T19 at the DP World Tour Championship.

The 32-year-old has made seven appearances at the Qatar Masters, with results of T6 in 2017, MC in 2018, T62 in 2019, T38 in 2020, T19 in 2021, MC in 2022 and 5th in 2023

Smith has shown signs he is ready to produce a top result in Doha and should enter calculations.

Jorge Campillo

Jorge Campillo has been in fair form on the DP World Tour during 2025, with results of 13th at the Nedbank Golf Challenge, T47 at the Alfred Dunhill Championship, MC at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, MC at the Ras Al Khaimah Championship and T13 at the Bahrain Championship last weekend.

Before that, Campillo was in solid touch, placing T18 at the Open de Espana, T19 at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, T37 at the FedEx Open de France, T2 at the Andalucia Masters, T32 at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship and T19 at the DP World Tour Championship.

The four-time DP World Tour has achieved top results at the Qatar Masters in his previous eight starts, placing T20 in 2016, T13 in 2017, T2 in 2019, victory in 220, T28 in 2021, T65 in 2022, 2nd in 2023 and 5th in 2024.

Campillo loves playing at this event and can emerge as the winner at the Doha Golf Club this weekend.

Matthew Jordan

Matthew Jordan had an excellent start to his season on the DP World Tour, placing T2 at the Nedbank Golf Challenge and T27 at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic before missing the cut at the Ras Al Khaimah Championship and at the recent Bahrain Championship.

Before that, Jordan was in great shape, finishing T10 at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, T6 at the FedEx Open de France, MC at the Andalucia Masters, T10 at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, and T34 at the DP World Tour Championship.

The 29-year-old Englishman has featured three times at the Qatar Masters, placing T28 in 2020, W/D in 2021, T5 in 2022 and MC in 2023.

Jordan can feature prominently in Qatar but must rediscover his form from a few months ago.

Adrien Saddier

Adrien Saddier has produced decent results at the beginning of his season on the DP World Tour, placing T34 at the  BMW Australian PGA Championship, T11 at the ISPS Handa Australian Open, Mc at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic and T13 at the Ras Al Khaimah Championship.

Before those performances, Saddier finished T19 at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, T18 at the Open de France, MC at the Andalucia Masters, T44 at the Genesis Championship and T19 at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship.

The Frenchman has contested the Qatar Masters six times, placing T16 in 2014, MC in 2018, T27 in 2019, T12 in 2020, MC in 2021 and T27 in 2023.

Saddier has been thereabouts lately and offers excellent value in Doha this weekend.

Verdict

Smith will look to win this year after he produced a solid performance at the Doha Golf Club last season.

Campillo has a proven track record at the Qatar Masters and can win his second title this Sunday.

Jordan can lift the winning trophy in Doha if he can replicate his form from the end of last year.

Saddier has been in decent nick and could upstage the others with a victory this weekend.
