A competitive lineup of PGA and DP World Tours players have converged at Sun City to compete for the Nedbank Golf Challenge title this weekend. Who will secure Africa's Major come Sunday?

Corey Conners

Corey Conners has been in great shape since mid-July, placing T10 at the Genesis Scottish Open, T25 at the Open Championship, T9 at the Paris Olympics, T50 at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, T22 at the BMW Championship and T7 at the Procore Championship.

Other noteworthy results achieved by Conners on the PGA Tour during 2024 include finishing T18 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, T13 at the Players Championship, T11 at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, T13 at the Wells Fargo Championship, T6 at the RBC Canadian Open and T9 at the U.S. Open.

The two-time PGA Tour winner is debuting at the Nedbank Golf Challenge this weekend.

Conners has been showing signs he is ready to win another title and make the frame in Sun City this weekend.

Thorbjorn Olesen

Thorbjorn Olesen has been in solid touch lately, placing T12 at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, T2 at the FedEx Open de France, T7 at the Andalucia Masters, T3 at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship and T24 at the DP World Tour Championship.

Other notable results from Olesen's year include winning the Ras Al Khaimah Championship and finishing T8 at the Dubai Invitational, T14 at the Valero Texas Open, T16 at the Myrtle Beach Classic, T14 at the Paris Olympics and T12 at the Amgen Irish Open.

The Dane has made four appearances at the Gary Player Country Club, placing 63rd in 2016, T12 in 2017, T44 in 2022 and 3rd in 2023.

Olesen has the form to win another DP World Tour title and can secure victory at the Nedbank Golf Challenge this weekend.

Mackenzie Hughes

Mackenzie Hughes has been producing excellent results lately on the PGA Tour, placing T4 at the Procore Championship, T8 at the Sanderson Farms Championship, T67 at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship and T5 at the RSM Classic.

Other prominent performances achieved by Hughes this season include finishing T3 at the Valspar Championship, T14 at the Texas Children's Houston Open, T6 at the Wells Fargo Championship, T7 at the RBC Canadian Open, T16 at the Open Championship and T19 at the 3M Open.

The 34-year-old Canadian will debut at the Nedbank Golf Challenge this weekend.

Hughes has come good with his game in recent outings and will fancy his chances to win at the Gary Player Country Club this weekend.

Nicolai Hojgaard

Nicolai Hojgaard has regained some form on the golf course lately, placing T18 at the FedEx Open de France, T20 at the Andalucia Masters, T9 at the Genesis Championship and T13 at the Abu Dhabi Championship.

Additional highlights from Hojgaard's season on the DP World Tour and PGA Tour include finishing T7 Hero Dubai Desert Classic, 2nd at the Farmers Insurance Open, T16 at the Masters, 7th at the Paris Olympics and T14 at the Danish Golf Championship.

The three-time DP World Tour winner have featured twice at the Nedbank Golf Challenge, finishing 55th in 2022 and 2nd in 2023.

Nicolai Hoojgard will look to go one better than his performance last year by winning the title at Sun City this weekend.

Conners can convert his consistent form into a winning performance at the Gary Player Country Club come Sunday.

Olesen will be challenging for the title if he can replicate his recent performances on the DP World Tour.

Hughes has been featured high on the leaderboards lately and can emerge as the winner of the Nedbank Golf Challenge.

Nicolai Hojgaard has shown improvement lately and should enter calculations at Sun City this weekend.
