A competitive field of the world's best golfers converge in Mexico for the latest round of the PGA Tour, with the players vying for victory at Vindata this weekend. Who will win the third edition of this tournament come Sunday?
Tony Finau returns to defend his title at Vindata after a three-stroke victory over Jon Rahm in 2023.
The Mexico Open at Vindata has a purse of $8.1 million up for grabs, with the winner receiving $1.5 million and 500 FedEx Cup points.
These are our four selections that could win the title this weekend.
Nicolai Hojgaard
Nicolai Hojgaard has produced top results on the DP World Tour and PGA Tour lately, placing 2nd at the Nedbank Golf Challenge, victory at the DP World Tour Championship, T25 at the Dubai Invitational, T7 at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, 2nd at the Farmrs Insurance Open, T31 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and T39 at the Genesis Invitational last weekend.
Before that, Hojgaard had been achieving consistent results, finishing T6 at the Genesis Scottish Open, T23 at the Open Championship, MC at the 3M Open, T14 at the Wyndham Championship, 3rd at the D+D Real Czech Masters, and T5 at the Omega European Masters.
The 22-year-old Dane placed T33 overall at the 2023 Mexico Open on debut.
Nicolai Hojgaard will fancy his chances to win at Vindata, as he has won once and finished runner-up twice in his previous seven tournaments.
Emiliano Grillo
Emiliano Grillo had a fair start to his new season on the PGA Tour, finishing T43 at the Sentry before finding some excellent form with the putter, placing T7 at the Sony Open in Hawaii, T20 at the Farmers Insurance Open, T14 at the AT&T Pebble Back Pro-Am, T22 at the Phoenix Open and T44 at the recent Genesis Invitational.
Other noteworthy results achieved by Grillo last year include finishing T7 at the RBC Heritage, T5 at the Mexico Open, T23 at the Wells Fargo Championship, victory at the Charles Schwab Challenge, T15 at the Travelers Championship, T6 at the Open Championship, T10 at the 3M Open, T20 at the FedEx St. Jude Championship and T10 at the ZOZO Championship.
The Argentine golfer has featured twice at the Mexico Open, with results of T33 in 2022 and T5 in 2023.
Grillo has been in great touch lately and has the form to produce a winning performance at Vindata.
Stephan Jaeger
Stephan Jaeger has had a solid start to his 2024 PGA Tour season, placing T18 at the Sony Open in Hawaii, T52 at the American Express, T3 at the Farmers Insurance Open, and T71 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

The German golfer has made two appearances at Vindata, placing T15 in 2022 and T18 in 2023.
Jaeger has produced two credible top-twenty results at the Mexico Open and will be challenging for the title this weekend.
Patrick Rodgers
Patrick Rodgers' performances on the PGA Tour were wayward for most of last year, but he has come good lately, placing 16th at the ISPS Handa Australian Open (DP World Tour), T14 at the Sentry, T24 at the Sony Open in Hawaii, T9 at the Farmers Insurance Open, 79th at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and MC at the recent Genesis Invitational.

The 31-year-old American golfer has an excellent record at the Mexico Open, placing 10th on denut in 2022 and T10 in 2023.
Rodgers plays well at the Vindata golf course and could surprise the others with the victory come Sunday.
Verdict
Grillo comes into this tournament in top form and can take home the winner's cheque.
Jaeger has been thereabouts lately and will have a chance of victory if he replicates his past performances at Vindata.
Rodgers has achieved back-to-back top-ten finishes at the Mexico Open and shoulder enter calculations this weekend.
