Team Crushers
Team Crushers finished top of the team standings after winning three titles in 2024.
The Crushers secured victories in Jeddha, Hong Kong, and Chicago. Additionally, they placed 2nd in Mayakoba, 4th in Las Vegas, T4 in Houston, 2nd in Nashville, 2nd in Andalucia and T3 in the United Kingdom.
Bryson DeChambeau has been Team Crushers' standout player this season, with his best individual results being T9 in Las Vegas, 4th in Jeddah, T6 in Hong Kong, T7 in Miami, T3 in Nashville, 9th in Andalucia and T11 in the United Kingdon.
Other team members include Paul Casey, Charles Howell III, and Anirban Lahiri.
Team Crushers have received a bye into the semi-finals.
Team Legion XIII
Team Legion XIII were hot on the heels of Team Crusher throughout the LIV Golf League season, clinching four titles.
Team Legion XIII lifted four trophies for their efforts in Mayakoba, Miami, Nashville and the United Kingdom.
Other notable results achieved by Team Legion XIII include placing T5 in Las Vegas, 5th in Jeddah, 1st in Miami, 5th in Adelaide, 5th in Singapore, 3rd in Greenbrier and 2nd in Chicago.
Jon Rahm captured the LIV Golf individual points title in his debut season last weekend, with his best performances being T3 in Mayakoba, T8 in Las Vegas, 5th in Jeddah, T8 in Hong Kong, T4 in Miami, T3 in Adelaide, T3 in Nashville, victory in the United Kingdom, 2nd in Greenbrier and victory in Chicago.
Team Legion XIII have received a bye into Saturday's semi-finals.
Team Torque
Team Torque played well throughout the season on the LIV Golf Tour, achieving multiple top-five finishes.
Team Torque placed 3rd in Mayakoba, T5 in Las Vegas, 4thin Jeddah, 2nd in Hong Kong, T4 in Miami, 4th in Adelaide, T4 in Houston, 3rd in Nashville, T4 in Andalucia, T5 in Greenbrier and T5 in Chicago.
Joaquin Niemann almost captured the LIV Golf individual points title after he had an outstanding season, with his best results being victory in Mayakoba, victory in Jeddah, T4 in Hong Kong, T9 in Miami, T3 in Adelaide, T7 in Singapore, T3 in Nashville, T6 in Andalucia, T2 in the United Kingdom, T15 in Greenbrier and T2 in Chicago.
Other players that make up team Torque include Sebastian Munoz, Mito Periera and Carlos Ortiz.
Team Torque will compete in Friday's quarter-finals after finishing fifth in the points standings.
Team Fireballs
Team Fireballs produced consistent results on the LIV Golf Tour this season, placing 6th in Mayakoba, 7th in Las Vegas, T6 in Jeddah, 6th in Hong Kong, 7th in Miami, T2 in Singapore, T2 in Houston, 1st in Andalucia, T5 in the UK, 4th in Greenbrier and 3rd in Chicago.
Sergio Garcia has been his team's most valuable player in the LIV Golf League this season, with his best results being 2nd in Mayakoba, T15 in Jeddah, 2nd in Miami, T14 in Singapore, 5th in Houston, T18 in Nashville, victory in Andalucia, T8 in Greenbrier and T2 in Chicago.
The remaining team members of Fireballs include Abraham Ancer, Eugenio Chacarra and David Puig.
Team Fireballs placed sixth in the points standings and will compete in the quarter-finals on Friday.
Format
The top three seeded teams receive a bye in the semi-finals, whilst the 4th through to 13th seeded teams compete in the quarter-finals on Friday. Two singles matches and one alternate-shot foursome match will take place.
The five team winners from Friday merge with the top three seeds to play in the same format on Saturday. Four teams earning two points from a possible three will advance to the championship round on Sunday.
The four teams that win in the semi-finals will compete for 1st through 4th place in 18-hole stroke play, with all four individual scores counting. The team with the lowest score is the LIV Golf League Team Champion.
