The DP World Tour and players remain on the continent of Asia to contest the second leg of the Asian Swing at the Hero Indian Open this weekend. Who will pocket the winner's cheque come Sunday?

Keita Nakajima returns to defend his title after a four-stroke victory over Veer Ahlawat, Sebastian Söderberg, and Johannes Veerman.

These are our four selections that could win the title this weekend.

Matthew Jordan

Matthew Jordan started his season on the DP World Tour in great touch, placing T2 at the Nedbank Golf Challenge and T27 at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic before missing the cut at the Ras Al Khaimah Championship and the Bahrain Championship.

Jordan shrugged off those disappointing results, placing T10 at the Qatar Masters, T45 at the Puerto Rico Open (PGA Tour), and T6 at the Porsche Singapore Classic in his subsequent three starts.

The Englishman has made one appearance at the Hero Indian Open, finishing T13 in 2024.

Jordan can win the title in Delhi after recording two top-ten results in three tournaments.

Sam Bairstow

Sam Bairstow struggled to find any rhythm to his game at the beginning of the DP World Tour season, finishing T52 at the Nedbank Golf Challenge, MC at the Alfred Dunhill Championship, and T77 at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic.

Bairstow has found consistency lately, placing T16 at the Ras Al Khaimah Championship, T32 at the Bahrain Championship, T10 at the Qatar Masters, T11 at the South African Open Championship, T9 at the Joburg Open, and T43 at the recent Singapore Classic.

The 26-year-old finished T13 at the Hero Indian Open in 2024 on debut.

Bairstow has been playing well lately and can lift the winning trophy in India this weekend.

Jayden Schaper

Jayden Schaper was in decent nick at the start of his season on the DP World Tour, with results of MC at the Alfred Dunhill Championship, T13 at the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open, T21 at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, T61 at the Ras Al Khaimah Championship, and MC at the Bahrain Championship.

Schaper regained his touch after that poor result, placing T5 at the Qatar Masters, 4th at the Magical Kenya Open, T16 at the South African Open Championship, and T9 at the Joburg Open before missing the cut at the Porsche Singapore Classic last weekend.

The South African golfer has featured twice at the Hero Indian Open, finishing T13 in 2023 before withdrawing from the 2024 edition.

Schaper has done nothing wrong lately and will fancy his chances to get over the finish line at the DLF Golf & Country Club this weekend.

Brandon Robinson-Thompson

Brandon Robinson-Thompson struggled at the start of his season on the DP World Tour, with results of MC at the Alfred Dunhill Championship, T42 at the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open, and MC at the Ras Al Khaimah Championship.

However, Robinson-Thompson has come good since the beginning of February, placing T8 at the Bahrain Championship, 3rd at the Qatar Masters, T41 at the Magical Kenya Open, T7 at the Joburg Open, and T20 at the recent Singapore Classic.

The 32-year-old Englishman is debuting at the 2025 Hero Indian Open this weekend.

Robinson-Thompson has been thereabouts lately and should enter calculations.

Verdict

Jordan has the form to secure the title at the DLF Golf & Country Club come Sunday.

Bairstow can convert his consistent performances into a victory at the Hero Indian Open.

Schaper has been knocking hard lately and can win his maiden DP World Tour title this weekend.

Robinson-Thompson has the form to upstage the others and win in India.
