New Zealand vs England Predictions
New Zealand may have been confident coming into the series after winning in India, but they have been blown away in the first two games by England on home soil. I am backing England to whitewash the hosts.

New Zealand Form
New Zealand will be disappointed with their performance over the opening two Tests after a magnificent series win in India. The hosts have already lost the series and only have pride to play for.
In the second Test, England scored 280 batting first, but the Black Caps could only respond with 125 all out. England then amassed a mammoth 427 in the second innings, leaving the hosts with a target of 583.
Tom Blundell found some form, scoring 115 runs in the second innings but the top order failed once again. New Zealand were all out for 259, losing by 323 runs.
New Zealand Injuries & Team News
This will be the final test of veteran Tim Southee’s career. Devon Conway could miss the Test for the birth of his child.
England Form
England secured the series with another dominant performance in the second Test. Batting first, Harry Brook’s 123 runs took England to a total of 280.
Gus Atkinson and Brydon Carse then took four wickets each as they dismissed New Zealand for 125 runs. In their second innings, England made the hosts pay, scoring 427 runs.
Ben Duckett scored 92, Jacob Bethell 96 and Joe Root 106 runs. Harry Brook’s form continued with a quick fire 55 runs. From there it was just a matter of time before England secured the victory.
New Zealand were all out for 259 as England secured the series win.
England Injuries & Team News
In England’s only change, Matthew Potts comes into the side for Chris Woakes.
Verdict
I am backing England to win with Harry Brook to top score. For New Zealand, Tom Blundell is backed to score runs.
