India had little trouble chasing that score, with Hardik Pandya top-scoring with 39 off 16 balls. Sanju Samson and Suryakumar Yadav scored 29 runs each.

Bangladesh were thrashed in the opening game of the series after only managing to score 127 runs in Gwalior.

On a decent wicket, the Tigers lost regular wickets and were unable to put any decent partnerships together. It was left to the lower order, in particular Mehidy Hasan Miraz to get a respectable total. Miraz scored an unbeaten 35 runs.

The target was never big enough to trouble India, who cruised to victory inside 12 overs. Both Taskin Ahmed and Mustafizur Rahman struggled with the ball, going for 15 and 12 runs to the over respectively.
