After the frustration of losing two matches due to rain, Lancashire ended their Group phase by beating Notts by eight wickets before losing to Northants by four wickets.

Lancashire put together a challenging score of 201/9 off their 20 overs, with good contributions from most of their batters. George Dockrell top-scored with a dynamite innings of 45 off 25 balls.

A 102-run opening stand by Northants off 7.5 overs blew Lancashire’s chances out of the water, and the visitors went on to win by four wickets with 10 balls to spare, despite incredibly tight bowling from Luke Wells (2/23, econ 5.75).
