It was left to no. 11, Naveen-ul-Haq who somehow managed 30 off 15 balls to get the score over 100. The Sunrisers cruised to the total for a bonus point win.

Paarl Royals Form

The Paarl Royals have made a very strong start to the 2025 SA20. They have won four of their five games and currently sit at the top of the pile halfway through the season.

The positive thing for the Royals is that they have various players coming to the party in each match. Lhuan-dre Pretorius has been very good at the top of the order, well supported by Joe Root. David Miller has also found his form in the last two games.

In their last outing, the Royals beat the Joburg Super Kings by six wickets. Chasing 150 to win, Pretorius scored 27 off 14 balls but it was David Miller’s 40* that saw them home with five balls to spare.
