Nottinghamshire vs Warwickshire Predictions - Haseeb Hameed to score big in bid to avoid relegation

The last two meetings between the teams ended in draws, including their clash in late April, but Warwickshire won the three previous meetings.

Notts bounced back from an innings defeat against Essex to pick up just their second win of the season, a 10-wicket triumph over Kent.

A 196-run opening stand between Haseeb Hameed (56 off 142 balls) and Ben Slater (160 off 217 balls) set the Notts inning up. The middle-order contributed well and Notts ended on 433 off 106.4 overs. 

Kent were rolled for 225 in their first innings (Farhan Ahmed taking 4/37) and, forced to follow-on, added just 230 in their second innings, Jacob Duffy taking 4/60.

Notts knocked off the 23 runs needed for victory without loss off just 3.3 overs.

Nottinghamshire enjoyed a superb performance against Kent and will enter this last match full of confidence as they fight to avoid relegation. 

After beating Kent and drawing with Worcestershire, Warwickshire suffered an innings defeat at the hands of Essex.

Warwickshire were humbled by Essex in just two days, being rolled for 78 in their first innings (Will Rhodes 29) and 114 in their second (Danny Briggs 51).

Essex recovered from 50/5 in their first innings to reach just 232 off 65.5 overs (Shane Snater 69 off 72 balls), yet it was enough to secure an innings and 40 runs victory. Craig Miles (4/58) was the pick of the Warwickshire bowlers. 

Warwickshire need to pick themselves up from their innings-defeat to Essex to collect the handful of bonus points they need to keep themselves safe from relegation.
