The New York bowlers were magnificent in bowling the Orcas out for 108 in the final over. Their four kingpin bowlers were all outstanding, with Trent Boult (3/25) and Rashid Khan 3/22 together running through the top five Orcas batters.
Nicholas Pooran (62* off 37 balls) continued his superb World Cup form, but it will be concerning that none of the Top 5 were able to offer him any support.

A brilliant opening match, but the failure of the top-order to offer Pooran any support could be a sign for an immediate change to the batting line-up by bringing in Dewald Brevis.
