The Challengers started well but soon found themselves struggling for runs. They ended on 172/8 thanks to a superb team bowling effort. Avesh Khan (3/44) and Ravichandran Ashwin (2/19, econ 4.75).

Yashasvi Jaiswal (45 off 30 balls) got the Rajasthan chase off to a great start, hitting the winning runs with one over and four wickets in hand.
