Royal Challengers Bangalore vs UP Warriorz Women Predictions
The Brabourne Stadium plays host to an exciting clash where the UP Warriorz will be expecting to pile more misery on an out of sorts Royal Challengers Bangalore. Runs have been flowing freely in the competition so we expect the batters on both sides to continue their good form.
- UP Warriorz’ Alyssa Healy has scored over 23.5 runs in 6 of her last 8 T20 innings
- UP Warriorz have won 1 of their 2 matches this season
- Royal Challengers Bangalore have lost all 3 matches this season
- Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Heather Knight has scored over 18.5 runs in 3 of her last 4 T20 innings
Head-to-Head
This is the first fixture between the teams
Royal Challengers Bangalore Women Form and News
Royal Challengers Bangalore are bottom of the table after losing all three of their fixtures. An opening round defeat to Delhi Capitals by 60 runs was followed by a nine-wicket loss to MI Women.
The Challengers would lose to Gujarat Giants Women by 11 runs in their last match. A high-scoring match saw the Giants post 201/7 in the first innings. RCB put up a valiant effort but the rate was just too much to keep up with despite a wonderful 66 from Sophie Devine at the top of the order.
After three losses on the bounce we may see a shake-up to the team.
UP Warriorz Women Form and News
UP Warriorz have started okay this season with one win and a loss from their opening two fixtures. A three-wicket win over Gujarat Giants ensured a good start to their campaign.
Delhi Capitals would be their next opponents whereby they suffered a 42-run loss. Delhi posted an imposing 211/4 in the first innings. A poor start by UP Warriorz all but sealed the loss early as they found it nigh impossible to get anywhere close even with a brilliant 90 not out by Tahlia McGrath.
The team will be announced at the toss but we expect a similar side from the last match to take the field.
Verdict
I am backing UP Warriorz to walk away with the win as well as Alyssa Healy and Heather Knight to cover their respective total runs market.
