Rajasthan Royals vs Chennai Super Kings Predictions

The Super Kings pulled off a great win in their opener before losing their second match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. They should have the form to beat the Royals, who have lost both of their opening matches by big margins.

  • Chennai Super Kings’ Rachin Ravindra has scored 108, 37, 65* & 41 in his last 4 innings.
  • Chennai Super Kings’ Ruturaj Gaikwad scored 53 off 26 balls (S/R 203.84) against Mumbai Indians.
  • Rajasthan Royals’ Dhruv Jurel scored 70 & 33 in his last 2 innings.
  • Rajasthan Royals’ Sanju Samson hit four sixes in his innings of 66 off 37 balls against the Sunrisers.

Head-to-Head

Rajasthan Royals’ streak of four wins in a row was broken when the Super Kings won the most recent match between the two of them in their group clash last season.

Rajasthan Royals Form

After losing their opener to Sunrisers by 44 runs, the Royals went down to the Knight Riders by eight wickets.

The Royals struggled to post 151/9 of their 20 overs after falling to 82/5. Dhruv Jurel (33) top-scored as the top-order failed to fire.

The Knight Riders raced to the win for the loss of just two wickets and with 15 balls to spare. Riyan Parag (4-0-25-0, econ 6.25) was the most effective of the Royals bowlers.

Rajasthan Royals Team News

The Royals need a major improvement to find winning form, and might need to bring in another bowler and batter.

Chennai Super Kings Form

The Super Kings kicked off their 2025 campaign with a a four-wicket win over Mumbai Indians, but lost their next match against the Royal Challengers.

The Royal Challengers’ top-order was on fire as they posted 196/7 off their 20 overs. Noor Ahmad (3/36, econ 9.00) was the pick of the Super Kings bowlers.

Rachin Ravindra (41) was the only batter in the top six to reach 20 as they collapsed to 99/7. MS Dhoni added a fiery 30 off 16 balls at the end but the task was too much and they ended on 146/8.

Chennai Super Kings Team News

The Super Kings need a big showing from their batters to ensure they secure a win over the Royals.

Verdict

I am backing Chennai Super Kings to win. I am also backing Rachin Ravindra to top score for Chennai Super Kings.

Dhruv Jurel is a good bet to top score for the Rajasthan Royals.
