Rehan Ahmed (46 off 27) was supported by Jordan Cox (38 off 32) and Shimron Hetmyer (36 and 23) as the Giants posted 174/7 off their 20 overs.

The Warriors were on track for the win at 122/3 in the 14th over before the Giants bowlers pulled the brakes on them. Mark Adair (2/23, econ 5.75) and Blessing Muzarabani (2/27, econ 6.75) starred with the ball but couldn’t prevent the Warriors snatching a last-ball win.

The Vipers started their 2025 season the way they ended 2024… with a big wicket win. 

The Knight Riders recovered from 39/3 thanks to Phil Salt (71* off 49) and a late rally from Alishan Sharafu (46 off 34) and Andre Russell (30 off 14) to set the Vipers a target of 167 off their 20 overs.

Dan Lawrence (70 off 39) and Sam Curran (50 off 37) added 96 for the third wicket as the Vipers hit their target with seven wickets in hand.
