Thereafter, Ollie Pope contributed 39 while Jamie Overton scored a quick fire 30 off 16 balls, but it wasn’t enough as the Strikers fell 11 runs shy.

The Scorchers bowlers were however support in response, bowling the Heat out for 132 runs.
